Background: Hideous monster stands astride a dead hero, and is beating on two others.
Foreground: Cleric at an open chest with a golden glow eminating from it.
Caption: "I'll be right with you as soon as I get my LOOT!"

It's a great foundation for a strong piece. I like the idea of a guy opening a chest (or looting a monster corpse) in a dungeon with other people (teammates) around. I think there is a great gag in there that we may have to dig for to get the full effect of the joke.
Try to put a ninja-looter spin on it maybe? Using the settings above, where does that lead you?

Still running it through my head, but how about this:
Background has people fighting the bad guys, foreground has a shadowy figure stuffing gold and jewels into his pockets out of a chest. Caption:
GOT LOOT?

Have an entire group of players laying dead in front of a dragon, and show one player dancing in front of a chest with the caption
"I support Ninja Hate Groups"
Ninja (nen-juh) n.: A player who steals loot from all others in the group to benefit themselves above the team.

I always wanted a small illustration of a comical fat incompentent ninja with a bag over his shoulder tip toeing around. At least that's the imagery I have in my head but I've got no phrase.
Let's keep things fresh here and just keep thinking of more ideas. Remember you don't always have to use an illustration to make the piece come together. A simple phrase may be all that it takes.
